School of Biosciences of Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad (University Courses Camus) organized a Webinar on 10th January 2023 by Dr. Aatmeeyata (BIG, Manager) and Mr. Neelabh Pathak (AIIDE, Manager). Presently they are with SIIC-IIT Kanpur .The event incepted with a welcome address by Dr. Surabhi Johari, Head of Department, School of Biosciences. She discussed about the role of biotechnology and future aspects in field of research. She also welcomed the resource persons. Furthermore, both the resource persons delivered their talks regarding Biotechnology Ignition Grant and its emphasis. They explained about their eight incubation centers and the fields on which grants are sanctioned. They encouraged the students to give shape to their ideas into innovation and its relevance with future prospects. In his lecture they imparted the knowledge of drafting and submission of proposal after getting registered to the site. The session included the information about the eligibility criteria, budget, type of proposal, collaborations and time-line for submission and completion of the proposed work plan. The guest lecture was followed by a short virtual felicitation and vote of thanks. The students and the faculty members were highly obliged to the speakers for such a wonderful session and were looking forward for such interesting sessions in the future. In a nutshell, this session was really informative and very interesting. Students enjoyed a lot and their interest in this session was reflected from the number of questions they asked to Dr. Aatmeeyata and Mr. Neelabh Pathak. Our gratitude goes to Director, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh for his invaluable support in conducting and organizing this webinar.
