Summary of the Event:

The Vishwakarma Pooja, organized at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) was held on September 17, 2024. The puja is a significant day of celebration, dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, the divine architect and engineer of the universe. It is a day when people offer prayers and seek blessings for their tools, machinery, and instruments as well as Lord Vishwakarma’s idol. The puja also symbolizes the recognition of the importance of technology and craftsmanship in the field of education.

Various offerings such as fruits, sweets, and flowers were placed before the idol of Lord Vishwakarma as a symbol of devotion and gratitude. Staff and faculty members offered their prayers with sincerity and reverence, to invoke divine blessings for the success and safety of all equipment and machinery used in teaching and research. Following the Havaan and Aarti, a cherished tradition was observed as ‘Laddoo’ was distributed as prasad to all the faculty and staff members.

The Vishwakarma Puja at the college was a resounding success, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a spirit of unity and devotion. The puja served as the importance and inclusivity of the celebration within the academic community. Additionally, students from various years also participated in the puja, emphasizing the involvement of the student body.

The success of the Vishwakarma Puja would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts and the support of the college administration, and the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty members.
