Summary of the Event

The Department of Computer Science at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) arranged a winter training program on Full Stack Development at IIT Kanpur from December 9 to December 19, 2024 for BCA 3rd-year students. This journey began with inspiring comments from Director Dr. Arun Kumar Singh and HOD-School of Computer Science Dr. Gagan Varshney. Mr. Danish, a professional trainer with expertise in Full Stack Development, conducted the course. Students have been exposed to the need of full-stack development in modern software engineering through training, which emphasizes expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, among other things. The program covered both the practical and theoretical aspects of full stack development. Students learned about front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.

Students also took part in a variety of enriching sessions, such as an Advanced Excel with Power BI workshop, a visit to the Computer Center, a Drone Session, an informative Cyber Security session, a visit to the Airstrip, a tour of the Robotic Lab, and an insightful visit to the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. These diversified activities gave students hands-on experience and important insights into a wide range of topics.

Each student will receive a certificate of completion for Full Stack Development. The pupils have encountered a new type of learning environment at the EICT-IITK Campus. The program concluded with a farewell party. Such a training program is required of BCA final year students, who will learn a variety of new skills from industry professionals.
