Summary of the Events:

The BCA Department of Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad organized Milan 2K24, a Mini Freshers celebration to welcome the new students. The event was honored by the presence of our Head of Department, Dr. Gagan Varshney, along with respected faculty members.

The event commenced with a warm welcome by the Master of Ceremonies, followed by an opening speech from the HoD, Dr. Gagan Varshney. The informal activities during the event included interactive performances and fun-filled sessions aimed at fostering connections between the freshers and their seniors. This provided an excellent platform for the new students to engage with their seniors and build rapport. Milan 2K24 marked a memorable beginning for the freshers, promoting unity and camaraderie within the department.

The event kicked off with an energetic group dance performance by the second-year students. Their captivating choreography set the stage for a lively and vibrant evening.

The highlight of the evening was the talent round, where juniors and senior students have shown their talent, achieved confidence, experienced group coordination. Students have shown their talent in following categories:

• Singing

• Solo Dance

• Group Dance

• Poetry

• Sports

• Anchoring

• Choreography

The next highlight of the evening was the showstopper ramp walk, where First-year students confidently and gracefully walked the ramp. The ramp walk was followed by Introduction and question-answer rounds. The contestants answered questions posed by the faculty members, showcasing their wit, knowledge, and confidence. After the program the judgement round performed by the faculty on the basis of ramp walk, talent round and Q&A, whose result will be declared later. The program ended with a huge applause by audience and the faculty appreciation for seniors and juniors for making this program happen. This provided an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to mingle, reminisce, and take photos. 

Learning Outcomes

• Students learned valuable event management skills, including effective planning, time management, and coordination to organize the event.

• Organizing the talent round and ramp walk required teamwork and collaboration among students, faculty, and staff.

• The event allowed freshers to bond with seniors and faculty, enhancing their social connections and fostering a sense of unity within the departmen
