Summary of the Event:

On 21st August 2024, a group of 44 media students from IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus visited the Amar Ujala office in Noida. The visit was organized to provide students with practical knowledge about the workings of a media organization and the processes involved in newspaper production.

The students arrived at the office at 11:00 a.m., where they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Pramod Satsangi. He introduced the students to the office environment and guided them through a tour of the facility. Mr. Pramod along with Mr. Pravin Pandey, Noida Bureau Chief explained in detail the various stages involved in news selection, editing, and publishing.

During the tour, the students were familiarized with different departments, including editing, reporting, graphics, and printing. Mr. Pandey provided insights into the management of content in digital media, highlighting the importance of staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field.

The students had the opportunity to ask questions throughout the visit, and Mr. Pramod  and Mr. Pandey have responded to their queries with detailed explanations. He discussed not only the technical aspects of newspaper production but also the principles and challenges of journalism. This interaction allowed the students to gain a deeper understanding of the media industry and its dynamics.

The visit concluded with a question-and-answer session, where students clarified their doubts and sought advice on various aspects of media and journalism. This session was highly informative and inspiring, as it provided students with valuable insights into the industry.

In the end, Mr. Pramod Satsangi shared some important tips for building a career in media and encouraged the students to develop their interests and skills further. His advice was well-received, and the students left the office with a renewed sense of enthusiasm for their future careers in media.
