Summary of the event- IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized Corporate Alumni Meet Bengaluru, which was conducted on 13th April 2024, at the Chancery Pavilion, 135, Residency Road, Bengaluru. The event commenced with a traditional and auspicious start as the lighting of the lamp marked the beginning of a significant journey, followed by the welcome note from the Director, IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus), Dr. Arun Kumar Singh. The Key note speaker of the day was Mr. Ratneesh Mehra (Director, Strategy and Transformation, ORACLE), who shared the light on the sustainability development. 

The next segment of the event was the panel discussion on the topic “Innovation and Sustainable Development: A Corporate Manifesto for Advancing SDGs”. The panel discussion aimed to explore the crucial role that corporations play in shaping a sustainable development as per the demands of today's dynamic and rapidly evolving industries. 

The moderator of the discussion was Mr. Arindam Sen (Senior Director, HCL Technologies)The Panel consisted of Dr Gopal Chandra Mondal (CFO and Company Secretary, Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.), Mr. Arun Nathan (Partner, Sattva Consulting), Mr. Niraj Singh (Principal Quality Programs, Infosys), Mr. Naveen Lakkur (Innovation Coach, Institute of Inspiring Innovations). Panelists shared insights, best practices, and success stories, creating a platform for knowledge exchange. They focused on some prominent points which were it increase efficiency in business, expanding opportunities, solving the problem and most importantly how sustainability & innovation is playing role in revolutionizing business across the world. The speakers also highlighted how alumni, with their wealth of experience, could contribute significantly to shaping the future talent pool.



The event facilitated extensive networking opportunities, fostering connections between current employees, alumni, and industry leaders. This not only strengthened professional relationships but also provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.


Prof. (Dr) Pooja Rastogi, Head, Alumni relations Cell – Kulam, shared the journey of IMS and its accolades and the bond the institute have with its alumni across the globe. The event concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment from all stakeholders to continue working together to bridge the skills gap and create a workforce that is not only adaptive but also poised for success in the dynamic industries of the future. 


Few of the alumni shared their experience with the gathering about the time they spent during the graduation days. The session ended with the vote of thanks by Mr. Vishal Sachdeva, Dy. Manager, Alumni Relations Cell – Kulam, which was followed by networking and informal interactions. The MOC for the event was Dr Shivani Dixit, Associate Professor and Coordinator Alumni Relations Cell.
