Summary of the event-
On May 27, 2024, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication organized ADIEU- 24 farewell party of Batch 2021-2024 under the guidance of Dr. Sandhya Sharma. More than 80 students of second year and third year attended the event and enjoyed well. The event was hosted by Ms. Mansi Bhardwaj and Ms. Anshika Jaiswal . The event started with Tilak ceremony and welcoming of outgoing batch students followed by Floral Tribute To Goddess Ma Saraswati. Director of IMS,Ghaziabad University Courses Campus Mr. Arun Kumar Singh and Head of the Department - Dr. Anil Kumar Nigam guided the students for a better future. The event continued with several performances. The main highlight of the event was the competition fought to attain the Mr./Ms. Farewell title which included three Rounds- Ramp Walk , Games Round and Talent Round. The Ramp Walk of faculties invigorated the students and added spark to the event. An open mike was conducted where students can share their feelings and amazing past experiences.
Several titles were given to the students which symbolizes their personality. Mr. Aayush Nagar won the pageant of Mr. BAJMC and Ms. Abhilasha Saini became Ms. BAJMC , Mr.Harshvardhan was awarded Mr. Evening and Ms. Shrishti became Ms. Evening. Winners were rewarded with gifts and momento. Dr. Sandhya Sharma presented the vote of thanks. A video containing all the old clips and past memories was played which made the students emotional. The event ended with cake cutting in atrium and dinner was arranged for all which followed the DJ.
Learning Outcome:
In conclusion, the students of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication celebrated their three years long journey at IMS with their faculties and buddies where they got a lot of good exposure which will help them in their career in future.
