Andaaz-e-Bayaan Kavi Sammelan

As Diwali is around the corner, accepting the constraints of social distancing due to pandemic, Literary Club of IMSUC, came up with the idea of organizing “Andaaz-e-Bayaan” a Kavi Sammelan on 11th November 2020 via online platform Zoom.

As Khalil Gibran said that “Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary”. The objective of this inter college activity was to provide platform to students who love to write, recite and express. Students from various colleges showed interest in the organized activity and put their best foot forward. They showcased their creativity in the form of poems which were both beautiful and powerful. They expressed their feelings on different genre, like - Scarifie, Love, Anger, Happiness and also covered some sensitive issues which are the major concerns in this society these days.
As everyone must have experienced different emotions, while listening to our participants, judges also got emotional on some of the performances.

All the participants were very enthusiastic and their knowledge about writing the poems and zeal to present them was commendable. The way they all performed in front of judges and audience was very professional yet entertaining. The audience was as energetic as the participants and some of them also, shared and presented their thoughts in a poetic way while everyone was waiting for the results to be announced.

The activity ended well as the results were declared by Judges Prof Vanchan Tripathi, Prof Shenki Tyagi, Prof Nidhi Srivastava and the winners were applauded. It was very well managed by the President Khushi Bhasin, Secretary Sanket Kumar and Advisory Committee member Ujjwal Dubey under the guidance of club head CA Anu Tyagi. The anchors of the activity Sanket, Ujjwal, Ishita and Khushi managed to make the audience and participants lively and co-operated with all the club members. The Trophies and Certificates will be shared with the Winners on their given address. It was amazing to see that 40 students participated in this competition and put forward their best.
