To develop a bond between new entrants and seniors is a very crucial part of getting accepted in college society. To cultivate this bond with new entrants School of Bio-Sciences organized departmental fresher's, "Action Replay" on 14th September, 2018 which provided a stage for newcomers to exhibit their potential in different fields and to overcome their stage fear. It took place at the Auditorium, Institute of Management Studies, University Courses Campus, Ghaziabad. The program was inaugurated by Chairperson and faculty members of the department.
The event started with the petals showering and blessings of Maa Saraswati. The program initiated with voguish ramp walk of the fresh faces which was followed by their brief and enchanting introduction. The stage was then handed over to newbies to showcase their talent, in which they spellbound the audience with poetry, singing, dancing and enacting in Role plays. Moreover the event was sparked by some dance performances by seniors as well. The screened out student were then placed upright in front of faculties for question answer round. New faces were asked mind boggling questions one after one by faculties which challenged their thinking abilities. Crossing the expectations, the newbies fended out the tricky questions in magnificent way.
The title distribution eventually took place and the winners were awarded bouquets and tags which were solely divided into categories on the basis of their crafted talents. The students were awarded with the different titles for their performance: Ms. Fresher, Mr. Fresher, Ms. Chesire, Ms. Melodious, Dancesation, Dancing feet, Ms. Diva, Mr. Evening, Ms. Evening.
The program happily ended with a small note "Together we can Grow, Care, Achieve, Prosper and Succeed" and Vote of thanks by Dr. Abha Vashistha, she welcomed the newcomers and extended her gratitude to all on behalf of her team members. Event was well organized by Bio-Sciences IInd year students under the guidance of faculty coordinator Ms. Neha Anttal and Ms. Anjula Chaudhary.
