Pre Lunch Session-1

Institute of Management Studies Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus organized a splendid Orientation Programme- Prarambh-2018, to formally welcome first year students of BCA Batch 2018-21 on 20th August, 2018. The Orientation Programme was designed to support new students as they begin their journey at IMSUC Campus.
The Pre Lunch Session was anchored by Ms. Ridhi Sharma, Student BCA III Year. The programme began with flower petal offering to Goddess of learning Maa Saraswati. The new students were acquainted to the background, vision, growth, culture and philosophy of IMSUC Campus by Chairperson BCA Dr. Gagan Varshney. The Chief guest for the day was Mr. Deepak Jindal, Delivery Manager at SAP HANA along with Mr. Anurag Dubey HR Head Talent Acquisition at CEBS and Mr. Deepak Gupta Alumni BCA batch 2008-11 working as Solution Integrator in Ericsson as Guest of Honor for the day.
The speakers interacted with the students and gave them the insights about their own experiences, latest Technologies and how to become a good human being. They discussed that Hard work and following your passion is the key to success.
The session-1 came to an end with a Vote of thanks by Ms. Bindu Trikha.

Session-2
The session -2 was conducted by Mr. Dhruv Dixit and Mr. Rishi Oberoi, students of BCA II year. The newcomer students were given an insight about IMS & BCA department. The various learning pedagogies followed by the BCA department, the student's achievements, the events, the activities and the club activities were all described by these students. It was a great learning session of every one.

Post Lunch session
The post lunch session was anchored by Ms Konika Chaudhary and Ms. Ananya Gupta, Students BCA II Year. The session began with the discussion about the dedicated Corporate Resource Centre at IMS. Mr. Vijay Shukla Manager CRC gave an insight about how the CRC works and handled the queries of newcomers.
The program then moved ahead with faculty introduction where in all the BCA faculty members to introduced themselves and wished students Good Luck for a great future ahead.
The last session for the day was to introduce the students with the E- Cell. The E-cell, shared the common belief that for India to emerge as a world power, the youth has to break the shackles of prejudices and inertia that has kept them from giving wings to their ideas. The session was well conducted by Dr. Indrani Bhattacharjee and Dr. Nidhi Srivastva along with student coordinators and they share the objectives of E-cell.
The day came to an end with a formal Vote of thanks by Ms. Konika.
