As we keep moving forward opening new doors to future, IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organized an Orientation Program 'PRARAMBH 2018' for BBA students batch (2018-21) on August 18, 2018. The objective of the orientation was to make students familiar with the new environment of learning and to give them a proper insight of management in the corporate world; the experts from various industries were invited to share their valuable experience. The Chief Guests for the day were, Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta (MD APL Apollo Tubes Ltd.) and Mr. Deep Nagpal (Associate Vice President - Operational Excellence, Bajaj Capital Ltd.) and the Guest of Honor were Mr. Shubankar Ghosh (Chief People Officer Zoom Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Rahul Talwar (Senior Manager, Deloitte -Alumni Guest), Mr. Ganesh Babu (Vice President, Royal Bank of Scotland) Mr. Vishal Yadav (CEO, AM International -Alumni Guest).
The program initiated with the inaugural session followed by National Anthem and with the enchantment of Saraswati Vandana. The experts were felicitated by sapling as a token of welcome by Dr. Sapna Rakesh (Director IMS, Ghaziabad University Courses Campus). She addressed the gathering with the importance of session and how it can add value to their involvement in college life. She highlighted the importance of holistic development opportunities at IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus. In her extremely inspirational and motivational speaker, she also gave a great advice on what to do in order to be successful in the ever-changing world.
The panelist handled various queries raised by the students in area specific and guides them to choose the right direction as per their skills and interest. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by Dr. Geeti Sharma (Chairperson-BBA) wherein she extended her heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion. The session ends with the pursuit of holistic development of future performers and creating well- rounded value based individuals.
