SENIOR-JUNIOR INTERACTION & GUEST LECTURE

Session: 1

On the 7th day of MIB orientation program for the batch 2018-20 wherein the senior batch (2017-19) conducted an interactive session with enthusiastic batch of fresher who have geared up to start their masters journey. Session started with an informal round of introduction where students had to describe themselves in one word, which describes them the best!
Followed by a Business quiz, Impromptu speech and Whodunit (sharing craziest thing ever done). The freshers not only showcased their participation towards all the games but also managed to gel up with seniors and faculty members quite well. To give the session a competitive edge, four teams were made on random basis with equal number of members in each. The teams were named as Business Boomers (BB), Inspiring Innovators (II), Canny Creators (CC) and Magnetic Maestros (MM).
It was a complete fun loving and learning session for seniors also as they were glad to meet their juniors. The freshers showcased their skills like initiative, team work, flexibility, communication, public speaking and general knowledge which are immensely required in the career they have started their journey for.

It is very wisely said that "To get Game-Changing results, start focusing on Game-Changing thoughts." In the same context a guest lecture was organized for the budding managers at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus). The Guest Speaker for the day was Dr. Amit Pareenja (Principal Consultant and Global Lead at TATA Communications).Dr. Amit not only groomed the students regarding the Power of Consulting Firms in the achievement of business goals but also made them aware the importance of technology for future in the ease of business. This session helped the students to get a better insight of how a small thing can make a big change in making business decision. Dr. Amit also advised the students to have a different perspective of looking things whether it be a brand or an advertisement. The knowledge which the students got after this session would take them a long way in terms of change in perspective and personal growth.
