The process of retrieval- bringing the information to mind-actually leads to learning all by itself. What?s more, bringing information to mind can sometimes improve student?s ability to apply the information in new situations. Learning gives creativity, Creativity leads to thinking, thinking provides knowledge, Knowledge makes us great... Keeping this thought in mind IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized a Quiz on Women?s from World of Business in the MDP Room. Women?s economic empowerment refers to ability for women to enjoy their rights to control and benefit from the resources, assets, income and their own time, as well as the ability to manage risk and improve their economic status and wellbeing. This business quiz had provided an opportunity to the students to know more and deeply about this concern and participate with full zeal and enthusiasm. The quiz master for the event explained Rules and regulations regarding the quiz.The teams were comprised of the two students. In the quiz, 3 major rounds were conducted. out of that the first round was the general round which comprised of 5 questions for each team allotting them 30 seconds for answering each question and 20 marks each for one right answer. And the second round was buzzer round in which every team needed to press the buzzer if they know the answer, the time limit for same is 25 seconds. And the last and third round was of audio and visual round, the students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some questions related to women empowerment were very tricky, the team tried to answer them with confidence. All the rounds were conducted successfully and all the teams showed active participation. Also the quiz masters made sure that every student understood the questions and the instructions. The event was successfully executed and let students to get to know about more insights about women empowerment. The event was also very much interactive where students were shoeing full of excitement and determination while participating. Also it puts a strong emphasis on participation of women in political structures and formal decision making and, in the economic sphere, on the ability to obtain an income that enables participation in economic decision-making. Education has no end and there is no age limit of learning was well-justified through this business quiz event. Winners of the quiz 1st Prize was grabbed by Shashwat Nagpal and Kshitij Mahajan (BBA 1ST YEAR 2014-17) 2nd prize was grabbed by Heena Malhotra and Yogya Mehrotra (BBA 2ND YEAR2015-18) 3rd prize was grabbed by Prince Garg and Sanchit Jain (BBA 3RD YEAR 2015-18) Lastly Dr. Geeti Sharma proposed a vote of thanks to all the participants of the quiz and also appreciated the efforts of each participant. Also she motivated the students and also mentioned that every individual should express their talent and improvise their skills by participating. She also felicitated the winners with certificates and trophies.
