Students of BJMC II & III year students got an opportunity to attend a media workshop on 5th July, 2014 conducted by NEWS EXPRESS (a reputed national Hindi news channel) for the talent hunt in media. In the workshop, students got to know about the new trends and practices in media. The main theme of the workshop was to highlight the value of digital media in Information and Broadcasting industry. During the session, students were also told about better career opportunities and best options in different areas of journalism. This workshop proved to be very successful as it offered Summer Internship opportunity to BJMC II year students as well as Placement opportunity for BJMC III year students. At the end of the session, students also visited the news channel set-up and learned its basic structure. Overall, the workshop and the entire session was very beneficial for the students in terms of gaining practical knowledge and concepts related to media and exploring their potentials into the media world.
