On 17-02-2018, a National Seminar on ?Entrepreneurship Development ? Issues & Challenges? was organized at Institute of Management Studies, University Courses Campus, Ghaziabad. The Seminar was started with the lighting of Lamp and taking the blessing of Maa Saraswati by the eminent Speakers along with the Director, Dr.Sapna Rakesh,Dean Academics Dr.Pooja Rastogi. In order to ensure enriched deliberations and focused discussion, experts from Industry and Academia wereinvited to the Seminar to share their rich field experiences with the participants. The seminar was chaired by Mr. Vivek Sawhney, Entrepreneur, Investors Clinic; Mr. Mukesh Malik, CEO, Project GK and Mr. Naresh Priyadarshi, CEO@IIIT Delhi Innovation & Incubation Center Company: fostering culture of innovation, enabling start-ups. All the Eminent Speakers, Delegates and Paper Presenters were welcomed by Dr.Sapna Rakesh for gracing the Seminar with their precious presence. She expressed that the future of India lies in Entrepreneurship, for which genuine and sincere efforts are expected from academia and industry. The main objectives of the seminar were to ? To understand the issues and challenges faced by the entrepreneurs. ? To familiarize the participants with emerging opportunities for development of new enterprises. ? To provide a forum for an exchange of views with leading practitioners and academicians. ? To sensitize participants and students as how to inculcate a business idea and seek venture funding. The focus of the seminar was to create a platform of interaction between policy makers, practitioners, academia and students. Various growth strategies for nurturing a new business idea, skills required for preparation of a business plan and its evaluation by the venture capitalists and Govt. funding institutions was deliberated. This seminar was of great value to professionals to familiarize with current national issues and priorities for entrepreneurial development. In this National Seminar more than 200 delegates from academia and industry of NCR, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr etc participated.
