IMS Ghaziabad ( University Courses Campus ) organised a media visit to Amar Ujala for 1st and 2nd year students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, on 20th April 2017. The objective of the visit was to help the students understand the process of editing, composing and printing of the newspapers and magazines. Amar Ujala is a Hindi daily newspaper published in India. Mr. Dinesh Singh (Chief Manager-Production) shared the insights about the real job of an editor, Mr. Dev Prakash Chaudhary threw some light on the real meaning of journalism, while Mr. Uday Kumar made students aware of the struggles and told them the ingredients to become a successful journalist. The students became aware of the hard work it takes to print a newspaper, which has a lifespan of hardly two hours. Yet, it is still one of the most important media in the country.
