The main perspective of organising any industry visit is to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Towards the same IMS, Ghaziabad (university courses campus) organized an Industrial Visit for BCA students at HP CWC , DLF centre, New Delhi on April 20, 2017. Mr. Vinod Verma, HP instructor, helped students gauge how HP is contributing towards DIGITAL INDIA. This visit provided students first-hand knowledge on about 20+ applications that HP has developed. The students got the opportunity to see the glimpse of Telemedicine wherein medical care is being delivered to the remote areas with the help of Information technology. Also got to know about the latest on E-ticketing technology which is being just on the verge of getting adopted by the government within next 3-4 months. HP also reflected upon its contribution towards making smart classes and it's certified courses. Students got to know about the technology applications running in SURAT. In the end the concept of VRC virtual reality centre was showcased to the students. This application has greatly influenced the verticals of gaming zone and film industries.
