Founder’s day of IMS Group of Institutions was celebrated at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) today by organizing an Award Ceremony where the students were felicitated with two category of awards- “Academic Excellence Awards” and “IMS-Award of Excellence”. The IMS group started with a great vision in 1990, much has been achieved and much more to follow.

The Award Ceremony had glittering, eminent guests and was inaugurated by Shri. Sanjay Agarawal Ji (Chairman, IMS Group of Institutions), Shri. Rakesh Chharia Ji (General Secretary, IMS Group of Institutions), Mr. V.K. Shekhar (DIG, Government of India) and Mr. Ashish Maheshwari (Director, Blue Ocean Strategic Advisory Pvt. Ltd.), Dr. Sapna Rakesh (Director, IMSUC) and Dr. Pooja Rastogi (Dean, IMSUC).

The Auditorium was full to its capacity with more than 200 parents and student awardees. The program started with a classical performance followed by performances on some old numbers. The Director, addressed the gathering and unveiled the new steps taken towards pedagogic changes at the Institute.

Students of Global Immersion Program were awarded with certificates. Academic Excellence awards were given to meritorious students and were awarded cash scholarships and medals. Mr. Kunal Gaurav was felicitated with a shield for being the ‘BBA UNIVERSITY TOPPER-Batch 13-16’. A new category of awards- “IMS Awards of Excellence” were given to recognize the exemplary performance of students in non academic areas like- sports, culture, theatre etc. In national category Mr. Sahil Tyagi was appreciated for being a Ranji Player. In International category three students were awarded- Ms. Mahima Attrey (International record for Swimming), Mr. Abdul Ahad and Mr. Mohd. Danish (for winning prizes in International Judo Championship).

All the parents interacted with faculty and staff and appreciated the program. Flawless execution of the program, enthusiasm of the students and proud moments of parents added glory to the event.
