Management Department at IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised Nukkad Natak on 1st March 2016, intending to highlight one of the major aspect of society ?Women Empowerment?. Empowerment stems from self respect, Women?s Empowerment refers to making women powerful to make them capable of deciding for themselves. Empowerment is the process that creates power in individuals over their own lives, society and in their communities. Women are empowered when they are able to access the opportunities available to them without limitations and restrictions such as in education, profession and lifestyle. The Nukkad Natak was so beautifully staged by the students right from the birth of a baby girl to her school to her professional life to her married life, students also showed that how a woman has to face discrimination at every stage of her life and how she overcomes it. IMS always believes in inculcating values, ethics, integrity and awareness on social issues amongst the students. The young actors who performed were the undergraduate students from BBA 1st Year who took this initiative to make this campaign a grand success. The session ended with great zeal and enthusiasm amongst the students and on a gratitude note by Dr Pooja Rastogi, Dean IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus).
