Ideals Making Rangoli is an art of colours where the creativity and imagination of students expatiate itself. IMS Ghaziabad (University Courses Campus) organised a Rangoli making competition on 5th November 2015, Thursday. Total 7 teams participated and each team consisted of maximum 4 members. All the participants through their Rangoli portrayed the message about the gender equality. Gender equality is the state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, including economic participation and decision making; and the state of valuing different behaviours, aspirations and needs equally, regardless of gender. The variegated colours and the theme presented captured everyone?s attention. The participants brought forward their creativity. Their innovative designs of Rangoli were appreciated by the Director, B P Pethiya and Dean DR. Pooja Rastogi and all other faculty members. The judges for the competition were Prof Shenki Tyagi and Prof Nidhi Srivastava. The judges were scrupulous in their judgement as all the participants gave stiff competition to each other. Participants were evaluated on the bases of creativity, design and relevance to theme. Top three teams were selected for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position and were awarded with certificates and trophies, whereas all the other participants were given the certificate of participation. The winners were: 1st prize was grabbed by Aditi Singh, Aparna Shah and Kajal Agarwal (BBA-2nd Year) 2nd Prize was grabbed by Vishal Saxena , Anamika singh and Aditya Chaudhary (Bsc- 1st year) 3rd prize was grabbed by Mehek, Mona Singh, Abhinav Bhardwaj and Ujjwal Kaushik ( BBA-2nd Year)
