In today's digital world when our most important property is our data and and the security of this data is our top most priority, we knowingly and unknowingly share our data with unauthorized users through various platforms. IMS Ghaziabad University Course Campus organized a workshop on "Data Security & Privacy" by Mr. Lalit Mathur , Co-Founder, CEO (DCirrus CLOUD COMPUTING SERVICES PVT. LTD.) for BCA 2nd & 3rd Year students on 19/09/2019. It started with the welcome address of Dr.Gagan Varshney, HOD BCA , IMS Ghaziabad .He motivated students towards learning new things and technologies.

DCirrus is a cloud computing company started in August 2015 , founded by Mr . Lalit Mathur . The workshop aimed at educating students about data security and cloud computing, the career opportunities in the field of data security and cloud computing. Mr Lait Mathur discussed with students about the various data security problems like Data Privacy, Data Localization, Cost-per user license basis, Data Breach, data theft, cyber-attacks etc. and also give his views about its solutions that his company working on.

Overall it was a very interactive session and the students enjoyed a lot as they asked many queries related to their data and also showed interest in knowing the working process of DCiruss to which Mr. Mathur answered very well. The event concluded with vote of thanks and ecofriendly sapling to the guests.
