About Session:
An important activity undertaken during the orientation program of MIB 2022-24, Utkarsh-2022 was the industrial visit to Moon Beverages which is the authorized bottling plant for Coca-Cola. Industrial visit provide student an insight into the real working environment, workstations, plants, machines, system and interact with highly trained and experienced personnel. As part of the orientation program, the institute has arranged the 1st industrial visit for students of MIB (2022-2024) at Moon beverage limited. The bus left the campus by 9:15 am with all the MIB students. The group reached the plant, and after giving a brief of the rules and guidelines to be followed, the students were taken to the factory.
An introduction session was conducted by the business partner who provided very useful information about the Coca-Cola company, such as- the history of coca-cola, kind of product offered by coca-cola all over the world like- coke, Fanta, Maaza, sprite, and Kinley, etc. After that the students were taken inside the processing area, where all activity happens in the plant-like process of making the beverages, cleaning the bottles, filling, capping, labeling and packaging. They told us about each process in detail. The students got to know about the social activity running by coke in India like 5 by 20, Coke studio, support My school, etc. Also, coca-cola reduced 32% of water wastage from 2017 to 2020.
The curiosity of the students was finally satisfied when the question-answer session was conducted by them. The students were provided with full insights about the working of the plant and each &every question was answered by them. The main employees coordinating for the same were Mr. Ashutosh, Mr. Manisha and Ms. Khushi who helped the students take a complete tour, understand the process, ingredients, packaging and marketing aspects also. After that students were offered coca-cola drinks by the company. The industry visit to moon beverage limited was a very good experience for the students in live exposure to manufacturing which can help them internship and future career
