REPORT OF GUEST LECTURE

Summary of the Event 

The Network Club of IMS University Courses Campus had organised an insightful workshop followed by a competitive game on the 2^nd of December 2021 on the engaging topic of hacking for all the hackers in the institute.

The crowd was welcomed by the cheerful attitude and warm words Ms. Aastha and was then ushered to the basic introduction of the club and the formal meeting of all the new recruit members to the audience gathered, by Ms. Yachika the stage was hence passed from the initiators to all the program facilitators for their respective presentations.

Moving further the club had Mr. Pratham who organised this entire event to come upon the stage and share with us all the basic knowledge and know-how of hacking and told us the importance of ethical hacking in the contemporary world.

Then the students were made aware about the details and the working of the entire game that was scheduled for them. Under this segment the members of the club were seen talking about how the crowd work was going to be divided into two teams and each had been provided with one IP address each that they were going to hack into to look for a secret message and so, the team that succeeds in completing the task first wins the game.

The students were really excited and happily coordinated with the members and were participating enthusiastically with high spirits. To wrap up the entire session we had Ms. Aastha to take over the podium again as the anchor to share her deep gratitude and a genuine vote of thanks followed up by our club coordinator Mr. Ashutosh Sharma thanking all the club members for their hard work in making this workshop a success and to all the participants for staying along so patiently. We ended this event with some genius and highly useful insights by our teacher coordinator. 

Learning Outcome:

• Students were able to understand the basics of hacking and the latest trends and live examples related to this field.
• Students have a better understanding of different types of modules and ways of using ethical hacking techniques for the betterment of the society.
