REPORT OF Mehfil-e-Musheira

Summary of the Event:

IMS Ghaziabad University Campus #Prayagraj#Varanasi chapter organised Mehfil-e-Mushaiera on July 10,2021. This chapter has been initiated in year 2020 to bring the people from the native places on one platform.State of Uttar Pradesh is known of its heritage, Prayagraj & Varanasi is part of this legacy with its unique culture ,many of the great scriptures, epics and works of art and music are credited to these places. Therefore, the theme of the session has been kept Sham-e-Kashi/Sham-E-Prayagraj. The event began with a welcome note by Dr.Geeti Sharma, IQAC Director thereby the introduction of esteemed Judges Dr.Neelam Lohiya, Associate Professor,Global Institute of Technology,Gurugram & Mr.Devesh Prakash Shukla,System Executive,IMSUC (Originally from Prayagraj).The Guest of Honour Mr.Piyush Shukla, Joint Commissioner, GST Mumbai (Originally from Prayagraj) narrated the beautiful ghazal followed by some poetry and set up the benchmark for the evening.The special guest of the evening Mr.Sharimbal Kanishk, Retail Professional (UAE) expressed his thoughts on the theme.All the participants gave the exhilarating performances in the form of peom, poetry, story, shayari leading it a remarkable and historic event.The First position was bagged by Mr.Kunal Mishra, GITM Gurgaon and Ms.Gayatri Mehta, Sushant University .The Second position was won by Mr.Mayank Mridul, Genius Public Inter College, Prayagraj and the third position by Mr.Ankit Kumar, IMSUC.The winners were felicitated by Certificate of participation and Certificate of Merit.

The session was ended with a formal vote of thanks and by presenting the E-Memento to guests by  Prof.Yagbala Kapil, Chapter Coordinator.

Learning outcomes:

The participants got a chance to interact and learn about the rich culture of Prayagraj and Varanasi.The event was full of learning and entertainment.
