Tree Plantation Drive at IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus

With the onset of monsoon season, IMS Ghaziabad University Courses Campus organized Tree Plantation Programme in college campus on 2 July 2016. Mr. Ram Bodh Maurya, Retired Senior IAS Officer initiated the programme by planting a “Maulshree“tree. His thought provoking philosophical words regarding the environmental protection and the advantages of tree inspired all the members present. Shri. Rakesh Chharia, General Secretary, IMS Group of Institutions and Dr. Sapna Rakesh, Director-IMS Ghaziabad, University Courses Campus facilitated the discussion and shared their views about this noble cause. Each faculty member planted their tree and placed their nameplates on the same. They were also requested to plant trees regularly and ensure to take care of them with deep love. All the faculty and staff members appreciated this initiative and realized the importance of green environment for a bright and healthy future.
