The institute has a dedicated Corporate Resource Centre. The centre facilitates the students of all programs- , MIB, M.Sc, BBA, BCA, BJMC and B.Sc. to get summer internships and final placements. It has been conceived with an objective of bringing corporate personnel and academia together, so that these corporate personnel can share their valuable inputs with our budding junior managers
In its endeavor to maintain a vibrant & proactive academic industry interface, the cell invites reputed companies from various industries to interact with its students. The cell functions throughout the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. It acts as an interface between the students, faculty, and the corporate world to initiate continuous interaction, sharing the industry experiences, and understanding the industry needs.
We have a well established system of ensuring a smooth transition from class room to the work place. Our system provides opportunities for students’ aspirations across various sectors of the industry. At IMS, students can confidently hope to enter the corporate world in sectors and positions in line with their capabilities. These comprise of Industry visits, mentorship activity, field research work, corporate interface and faculty monitored corporate internship programs.
The cell acts as a facilitator to place our under-graduate students for Junior Management Jobs/ Management Trainees. The students are of different specialized areas- management/ information technology/ journalism and bio sciences.
