Why BBA?

Bachelor in Business Administration gives an idea on the business principles and strategies. The course helps an individual to gain essential knowledge about the corporate world and also the fundamentals of Business administration. In today's competitive economy, a BBA course trains effective leaders of tomorrow and entrepreneurs imparting a complete professional education that would make students employable. Most of students choose to join the workforce straight after BBA in a variety of organizational settings.


BBA at IMS Ghaziabad-University Courses Campus is a 3 year –full time program is affiliated to CCS University, Meerut with an intake of 360 seats. Its not the same course as offered by other institutes. Its main focus is aquiring employability skills by choosing specializations offererd to students from semester 3rd onwards along with the CCSU curriculum. The program focuses on empowering the students through quality education focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship and benchmarked management techniques. The institute aims at creating an environment of experiential learning through exposure to a range of real world practical problem solving techniques and utilising opportunities to apply learned skills in diverse business situations.

  • European Pedagogy Adapted Model

    The programme follows European Pedagogy Adapted Model, which is internationally benchmarked teaching system through highly qualified faculty consisting of experiential aspects such as flip classes, ERP driven modules, emphasis on research, case based practical learning and strong corporate interface such as industry visit, guest lectures and live projects. Mandatory internships of 4-6 weeks ( summer & winter), project report evaluation based on internships ,rigorous evaluation & feedback procedure, peer enrichment series and value added courses also form an integral part of the curriculum.

    2. To improve employability skills of the students.
    3. To build up self confidence and competency among students to take up self employable business ventures/ start ups.
    4. To give an adequate exposure of operational environment in the field of management.

Specializations Offered

The students can choose one specialization out of the four options avialable to them.

S-1:Retail and Marketing

Students aspiring to develop a career in the area of Retail and Marketing are being offered specialization in this area. This specialization focuses on imparting knowledge and skills for performing in the domains of marketing, sales, promotion and product development.

S-2: Banking & Finance

Banking & Finance Specialization is meant for students aspiring to make career in financial institutions. The module assists the students in developing core finance skills.

S-3:Data Sciences in Management

The changing business requires cutting edge professionals to handle big data. Data Sciences in Management Specialization offers students to learn most modern techniques of data science and contribute to analytics function across the organisations.

S-4:Family Managed Business & Entrepreneurship

This is meant for the students coming from family managed business background, who aspire to become venturesome second generation entrepreneurs. The module aims at develop perspective for handling family businesses and also initiating new business venture.

Student Driven Clubs

Learning by doing is the philosophy that IMS believes in. There are more than 20 student driven clubs, divided into two categories- Life skill based clubs and Employability skill or Domain Clubs. The clubs are owned and managed by a student council and have monthly agenda, meetimgs and a event calendar that prudently followed for maximum opportunity and skill based learning outside classrooms. Eligibility for Admission:

  • Candidates seeking admission to the BBA Programme must have passed 10+2 (or its equivalent) examination in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks for General and OBC candidates and pass marks for SC and ST candidates from a recognized Board/ University.
  • Or
  • Candidates appearing for +2 examination or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply. Their candidature, however, shall be considered, subject to their clearing the qualifying examination.

  • Candidates seeking admission in BBA are required to meet the Admission Counselor in the Institute Premises.

  • Candidate having 1 or 2 Years gap after XII need to submit a Gap Year Certificate.
